STOP, for a while please.

    Every second counts. Could you believe that we're having our 2nd quarter examinations next week? Time really do run fast. We may not know but we might be juniors tomorrow. Yesterday, it felt like it was only June, start of classes and now, I didn't even realize, we're near the end of this school year. 6 months left. I wish somehow, it will all just slow down, until it stops. I don't want to be fourteen yet. Can't I be thirteen forever? I wish I own a necklace that could send you back in time, like Hermione Granger in Harry Potter or a time machine. I even wish I could travel to Neverland, 'till I see Peter Pan and we'll both stay young forever. But, we can't. Time will keep on running, the world will keep on rotating, revolving. We should all learn that we can't stop time. Lesson: just live your life to the fullest, though things don't happen the way we want them to. :)

because I have to study, study, study for the exams. Wish me luck.

He's always B L U E :)

    I love Cookie Monster. You know why? Well, it's because he's blue, which is my favorite color, and he likes cookies to, which other that muffin, pancake, lollipop, bubblegum, cake, ice cream and chocolate, is my favorite sweet treat too. We have somethings in common, well except for the part Cookie Monster is a monster and a puppet in Sesame Street, while I'm a girl living in the real world. :)

No ordinary STAR.

   If I were to ask you who is your favorite cartoon character, who would you choose? If you were to ask me, i would pick Patrick Star. I am aware that in Spongebob Squarepants, he's dumb but I actually find it hilarious. One time, I was watching this episode when Spongebob wondered how Patrick starts his day, so of course this story starred Patrick. While he was sleeping, his alarm clock suddenly rang, he wakes up thinking it was a prank. He was startled and thought the lamp was the one ringing so he told the lamp "Okay, you got me. You could stop it now", but of course it didn't stop he attacked the lamp and when the ringing still hasn't ceased, he got a pillow, took of his underwear and made the pillow wear it, drew a face on the pillow. The face he drew on the pillow is Spongebob's and when the pilllow covered the alarm clock, he then, looked for his breakfast. He heads straight to his cabinet where canned goods are found, he says, "I don't have food anymore, all I have are these cans", he shakes the can learning that the food is inside. He brings the can to his table and said, "Okay food, you can go out now", thinking that the food is shy, he brings out a plate and says, "Nice and comfy plate just for you", but of course the food won't go out so he threw it across the room, hitting the alarm clock and the can cracks open and of course he eats the food found inside the can. See, Patrick is funny. =))

I need S T A R B U C K S :)

     I really like Starbucks. I don't know how they do it, but after I drink one, it makes me want to drink more. I really wonder why people crave this product so much? Is it because of the height of its popularity or is it because it just tastes good. Well, whatever the crowd's reason is, all I know is that Starbucks creates magic! They just kept me craving for more. Good thing, Plazuela holds a Starbucks stand, where I'm sure everybody will visit. I am craving for Starbucks. Until we meet again, Starbucks.

I scream for?

      Young and Old. Boys and Girls. Smart and Dull. Who doesn't like ice cream? Ice creams are sweet treats that are known through-out the ages. Even old people, who doesn't seem to have any tooth left still eats some. When I'm sad, give me some ice cream and I'll smile.  When  a little boy or girl is lonely just send him or her some ice cream and he or she'll be overjoyed. That just proves that people all over the world likes to eat ice cream and sometimes it's your ticket to make them happy. I really love Pistachio flavor of all. The way it tastes is just oh-so magical.  What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?

Ghost Whisperer follows the story of Melinda Gordon (Jennifer Love Hewitt), who lives in Grandview, New York. Melinda has the ability to see and communicate with ghosts, who seek her help in relaying a message or finishing a task that would put the ghost to rest and allow them to cross over into the light. Those who died with unfinished business become earth-bound and can not cross over, and Melinda, as their earthly representative, helps them to find peace. The show does not present the ghosts as having sinned; rather it is the spirits' own guilt that condemns them, and their own fear of judgment that keeps them from "crossing over" into an afterlife.

Everytime I watch Ghost Whisperer, I don't know, I'm just freaked out. I'm scared but I can't help but watch it. Anyway, it always ends with happy endings! :)

Vampire Diaries

     Everybody's going insane over Vampire Diaries. I mean, who wouldn't? It's like the new Twilight Saga. What pushes me to watch this show, is Damon Salvatore (right), he might be the bad boy type, the kind of person who just does what he thinks is right without considering other people's feelings, but when it comes to Elena Gilbert (middle), he's softer side comes out. Here's some synopsis about the story according to the BOOK: Stefan and Damon Salvatore are brothers who transferred to Mystic falls, where they meet Elena Gilbert. Elena Gilbert, the girl who reminds the Salvatore brothers of Katherine. Katherine on the other hand, is a century-old vampire who was once with Stefan and Damon. The title is Vampire Diaries, in my opinion because Elena always writes in her journal. Did curiosity bite you? Better watch out for Vampire Diaries. :)

Would you believe it?

      Would you believe this 2 photographs are NOT photoshopped at some point? Well, when I first saw this, I was like "Really?! Oh my gosh, that is so unbelievable!" I had two thoughts when I first saw this photo, first is that, " Maybe, they really didn't photoshop it", and another part of me said, "Somehow, they did. They could have lied to everybody about  the NOT photoshopped thing". Then i learned the first photo was found in China, this photo are terraced mountains where Chinese used to grow rice. They have been altered to hold water and created surreal places. The second photo was taken by austrian adventurer, Roman Maurer in the Antarctic. Well, would you believe that these photos are not photoshopped?

      Finally, I changed my username in twitter. I got sick and tired of looking at my previous username. You may ask me now, why Blue cookies? Of all colors, you ask me why I chose blue? Simply because I like the color blue, it is my favorite color. Blue represents equality for me, because it's neither girly like hot pink nor boyish like dark green, hence, it's found in the middle. Why cookies, you say? Well, because once my mom brought these cookies found in Manila, called "Soft Batch", they taste like homemade and they're very soft. That's why I like cookies. What about yours? What's your username in twitter?

Connections.

    As a teenager, I follow what I see and hear as  "IN" or the things that are very popular in my time. Like, if I hear or see the news that ruffles are IN I'll look for the perfect ruffles and buy them, of course, it has to be comfortable too. So anyway, since facebook, twitter, tumblr and formspring are sites that are widely known these days, of course I signed-up and made my own page. How about you? Do you also do what i do? :)

Count on her like 4, 3, 2..

        Ysabel Florenda Villanueva-- Singer. Actress. Friend. Why make a blog about her, you ask? Well, it's because she's a very close friend of mine. I may have only met her last year, but I felt some connection with her. I really love her. We may not eat together, but she still remains as a very close friend and special person to me. I could always depend on her and she can always count on me like 1, 2, 3. So all I can say to her is "Thank you Bess, because I can always count on you like 4, 3, 2 and you'll be there." :)

      I really love this dress. I bought it 2 days before I delivered my talumpati in front of the class. I love this dress because it's my only dress that is 'till my knee, it's also simple and kind of formal, not like my usual dresses. This dress I'm wearing is colored brown and white, the design is floral which makes it very chic. I want to thank Ms., for giving us the talumpati presentation as our mastery test, that gave my mom a reason to buy me this flowy dress. :)

Having a stylish week is easy when I know where to find inspirations - chic, fashion blogs, whimsical pieces, and my favorite things.

        I saw these part in an issue of Candy magazine and I came across these sites where they give you inspiration and ideas for your outfit. First stop, Nicole, she gave me the idea that 'vintage clothes are very chic and they have remained'. I saw tons of cute vintage dresses in her blog, and yeah I liked all of them. She also posted her photos when she travelled in Melbourne and other places. She made me say "Woah!" to all the outfits she posted in her site.  Second is Alix, the way she mixes and matches her outfits is just magical. At first, if you ask me, brown leather boots and a white dress, my reaction would be "Nu-uh. No way, those could go together." and then I saw this picture of her, wearing those two and then I said to myself, "Wow! he just makes it work". Last, Jane, the shoes in her site is very peculiar, for the designs are very unusual. One thing I like about her site is that she shows all of her shoes, and tells her readers, 'this absolutely goes with everything' or 'this only goes with blue dresses', in short, she gives her readers idea of what would be the perfect match for a certain pair of shoes. :)       [click their names to see what's in their blog]

       These are the qualities an America's next top model should possess. How did I discover America's next top model? Well, starts from my boredom, of course. It was late at night, there was nothing good to watch, so I browsed and thought "Maybe, there's something, worth watching", so I kept on browsing, until I reached Star World and this show somehow, caught me. I watched it to know what this show is all about. I saw thin, gorgeous looking girls, posing. I saw these girls, move and create shapes in their body. I saw Tyra Banks, later in the show, and then I thought "this might be, America's next top model", i wasn't sure. 'Till I saw all those branded shoes, clothes and the famous designers. Those things, confirmed that what I'm watching is America's next top model. Every episode a girl, who has the weakest photograph, gets eliminated. Do you have what it takes? Do you want to be on top? =)

I remember once, I was so bored and I told myself, "Hey, why not watch music videos in MYX." Then, I came across this song entitled "Nothing on You", and you know what struck me in that video? It's not B.o.B's rap or the pretty girls in the video, but it was Bruno Mars' singing. I liked Bruno Mars' songs, as in all of them! Especially, 'Just the way you are' and 'Count on me'. Anyway, here's some background about my favorite singer, who brought a new genre to the music industry. Peter Gene Hernandez, also known as Bruno Mars is an American singer-songwriter and music producer. He was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. His parents are Pete and Bernadette Hernandez, of Puerto Rican and Filipino descent. As a litte boy, he used to impersonate and sing Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley hits. Now, he already released albums and sang popular hits, like: 'Nothin' on You', 'Billionaire', 'Just the way you are', 'Count on me' and many more. :) Since I really really like his song, 'Just the way you are' ; i now give you the lyrics.
