BABA VANGA

This is Vangelia Gushterova. Also known as Baba Vanga. She may seem like a normal old lady, but she’s not. She’s a prophet from Bulgaria who accurately predicted 9/11.
But she wasn’t alive to see 9/11 happen. She was born in the year 1911 and died in the year 1996. When she was 12, she got stuck in a raging storm and the wind was so hard, she was lifted by it and was thrown to the ground from a great height. And, when people found her, her eyes were all sandy and she became blind.
Anyway, then she got all freaky and started predicting things. Like once, her older brother wanted to join the army but she begged him not to go because she had this vision that he’ll die at the age of 23.
And she was right. Her brother joined the army, was captured by Germans, and executed at the age of 23.
Okay, here’s a list of her predictions:

In 1980, she predicted in either 1999 or 2000, Kursk will be covered by water. At first, the Russians thought she was referring to the city of Kursk, so they were all confused and stuff. But then in 2000, the Russian submarine, Kursk, sank.

In 1989, she predicted that the World Trade Centre would be attacked by “steel birds”.
She predicted World War III will begin in November 2010. As a result, radioactive fallout will destroy almost all life in the Northern Hemisphere.

She predicted China will control the world by 2018.

By 2046, all body organs can be reproduced

In 2111, people will become robots.

In 2125, aliens will contact us

In 2130, the aliens will teach us how to breathe and live underwater.

In 2164, animals will turn half-human.

In 2183, our colony on Mars will break off from Earth and ask for independence.

In 2196, Asians and Europeans would have completely mixed. [NOT SURE WHAT THIS MEANS]

In 2221, while searching for ETs in space, humans will encounter something terrible

In 2341, something terrible will approach Earth from space.

In 3797, Earth will die. But humans by then were advance enough to move to another planet

In 4509, we’ll be able to communicate with God.

And in 4599, people will become vampires achieve immortality.

I actually don't believe in predictions but so far some came true, so the future scares me right now.
:(
Style is all about mixing and matching different colors. Accessories and outfits. Style is about creating your own style. Once a famous fashionista said "Style is essential. Fashion is temporary". I actually think style is telling something about yourself without saying any word. I believe that the clothes you're wearing says something about yourself. Example, in the photograph above, I could somehow say this girl is very chic and she has a big PASSION for fashion. I for one say that a outfit is not meant to be worn once and be thrown, if you don't want people to actually notice, that you repeat clothes, why not try accessorizing? Chic. Casual. Elegant. These are the different faces of a girl's life, and every outfit worn says about being casual or being chic or being Elegant. STYLE is everyhting, everywhere and is for anybody. :D

Yumm.

Sweet. Colorful. Tempting.
These are the words that build the thought of lollipop in my mind. Well, who doesn't actually like lollipops or who has never tasted any? Lollipops have been the favorite treat of my cousins and I, as well. Well, for somebody who likes lollipops but is not allowed to eat because of tonsillitis, it would be pretty exciting for me if I eat once again. Chocolate. Strawberry. Orange. Grapes. YUM. The delicious flavor of lollipops. Who could ever resist them? Well, I know for myself, that I could never resist lollipops. :D

Harriet the Spy

A 1996 comedy-drama and mystery film adapted from a 1964 novel of the same name. Michelle Trachtenberg is the main character, playing (of course) the role of Harriet Welsch. Apparently, I recently saw this movie on Star Movies. Here's some background story about it.

Harriet M. Welsch is an outgoing 11-year-old girl aspiring to be a writer and a spy. Living a privileged life on the Upper East Side, as practice for her future career she observes others carefully and writes everything she thinks in a notebook.

One day during a game of tag, Harriet loses her notebook and is mortified when her friends find it and Marion proceeds to read all of Harriet's secret thoughts to everyone. The children find some of what she wrote hurtful, and the class forms the Spy Catcher Club. The club meets regularly to think up ways to make Harriet's life miserable, including stealing her lunch and spilling paint all over her during art class.

Out of utter frustration and envy, Harriet drops a note in the Hennesseys' mailbox for Rachel's mother. It states, "All those kids hate Rachel. They just want your cake. Furthermore they will clutter up the backyard and also they constitute a nuisance." The Hennesseys find it and Rachel later announces to the Spy Catcher Club that a crank note was dropped in her mailbox. She summarizes what the note said, and to Harriet's amusement, Pinky Whitehead states, "Well, it's very good cake."

Hurt and lonely, Harriet resorts to childish tantrums and resolves to get back at her former friends by thinking up a special punishment for each one. She gets into trouble when she carries out some of her plans, including cutting off a chunk of Laura's hair. When that fails, Harriet tries to resume her friendship with Sport and Janie as if nothing ever happened, but they both reject her. Spending all her time in class writing in her notebook causes her grades to suffer, and Harriet's parents confiscate her notebook and take her to a psychologist.

Harriet's parents speak with her teacher and the headmistress, and Harriet is appointed editor of the class newspaper. The newspaper becomes an instant success and after some time as the editor, Harriet makes amends to her former friends, offering a printed retraction and saying that the statements in her notebook were unfair statements. Sport and Janie forgive her, and all is well again.

Happy endings. :)

Gleeks are so here.

As weeks passed and GLEE has aired for a long time already, I am here, watching season 1 again. Why? Because, they just take my breath away every time they sing a song. Not only does GLEE sing songs out of the blue, but they also show here different issues like Quinn's teen pregnancy and popularity issues in school, etc. I really liked this TV series because I really love listening to the songs they revive each episode. BACKGROUND? Okay. Here it goes.
William Schuester is a Spanish teacher in WMHS. He is also the Glee club moderator. The first group of kids to join the said club are Rachel, Artie, Tina, Mercedes, Kurt and Finn. Rachel is a very good singer but has popularuty issues. Artie, a very talented guy but is stuck in a wheel chair. Tina, a good performer and an EMO. Mercedes, as well as the first four ahead, a very good singer and is a black American. Kurt, like all those kids, is a very talented performer, dresses very well and is gay. Finn, on the other hand, is a good singer and a popular football jock. This said club however is very much hated by Sue Sylvester, cheerleader coach and enemy of Will Schuester, so when three of her cheerleaders (Quinn, Brittany and Santana) tried to enter Glee Club, she used them to be her eyes and ears inside Glee Club and tried to take them down.
Well, so much has been said already, I recommend you check out Glee. :))

TEENAGE DREAM.

I recently heard this song by Katy Perry, which is entitled 'Teenage Dream'. I liked the way she sang it. The lyrics was beautifully made and it seems like every teen could relate to this song. Because, i really LOVED it, I made an effort to post the lyrics here.

You think I'm pretty
Without any make-up on
You think I'm funny
When I tell the punch line wrong
I know you get me
So I'll let my walls come down, down

Before you met me
I was a wreck
But things were kinda heavy
You brought me to life
Now every February
You'll be my valentine, valentine

Let's go all the way tonight
No regrets, just love
We can dance until we die
You and I
We'll be young forever

You make me
Feel like
I'm living a Teenage Dream
The way you turn me on
I can't sleep
Let's runaway
And don't ever look back
Don't ever look back

My heart stops
When you look at me
Just one touch
Now baby I believe
This is real
So take a chance
And don't ever look back
Don't ever look back

We drove to Cali
And got drunk on the beach
Got a motel and
Built a fort out of sheets
I finally found you
My missing puzzle piece
I'm complete

Let's go all the way tonight
No regrets, just love
We can dance until we die
You and I
We'll be young forever

You make me
Feel like
I'm living a Teenage Dream
The way you turn me on
I can't sleep
Let's runaway
And don't ever look back
Don't ever look back

My heart stops
When you look at me
Just one touch
Now baby I believe
This is real
So take a chance
And don't ever look back
Don't ever look back

I might get your heart racing
In my skin-tight jeans
Be your teenage dream tonight

Let you put your hands on me
In my skin-tight jeans
Be your teenage dream tonight

You make me
Feel like
I'm living a Teenage Dream
The way you turn me on
I can't sleep
Let's runaway
And don't ever look back
Don't ever look back

My heart stops
When you look at me
Just one touch
Now baby I believe
This is real
So take a chance
And don't ever look back
Don't ever look back

A world of books =))

IMAGINATION. COLOR. TRAVEL.
This are the things a book could give you. Imagination, I once heard a character in a TV show say "It's like a TV in your head", well I actually agree. I've been reading books since I was a first year, I have actually encountered various books. Love story, Novels, Fiction, Best-sellers and books that were turned to movies and stuff. I remember when I was a little kid and the only thing I look forward in reading a book are the pictures in it. Anyway, imagination is one thing, a simple book could offer you. It opens your mind into a different kind of world. Color, well for me, reading a book simply adds a color to my life. Travel, how could I really travel with just a book? Well, simple for me, through your imagination, a book could bring you from one place to another. A book could actually help you journey to places you could never imagine. So, why don't you pick-up a book and start to read one now. :))
