Guess Who. :)
While I'm spending my boring day at home, I decided to browse my stuffs. I opened a scribbled notebook, and then something fell. It was a piece of paper like thing that dropped onto my foot. I looked at it and saw a cute little girl. She was between 1 to 3 years old in the photo. She had a crooked smile. She seemed new to this world. She was fat, however she managed to look adorable. This photo brought back a sweet memory of the nice person this little girl turned out to be. This girl in the photo, ten years later turned out to be caring, loving, friendly, talented and beautiful. She became the person who you can sing a duet with, a person who you can share some secrets with and who'd love to have F-U-N with you! :) She's Mary Alice J Kanaan. Beautiful, inside and out.
SUMMERRR :)
One very boring summer afternoon, when I've got nothing better to do, my cousin and I decided to play with our pet turtle. Boredom struck us good, 'coz we spent the whole afternoon just taking pictures. We posed like this and that, mostly focusing on our turtle. Above are 2 of our pictures. It's pretty lame but when you're bored everything looks good and works out.
I just often wish I'm as creative and as smart as Phineas and Ferb. I mean, I would then make robots and roller coasters to make my boring summer really really FUN. Well, I wish. :)

So long Elizabeth
Being second year's not meant to last forever! :'(
It was a sad day. The last day of exams was also like the mark that it's the last time that the whole Year II - St. Elizabeth will be together. You might be thinking, why would we cry, we'll still see each other next year. Well, we're sad because we're not going to classmates anymore and this section left a really really really big mark to all of us! Our section had its ups and downs but we still felt like family! Through, the fights we experienced we grew closer to each and everyone.
Indeed, high school is the best. I'll always remember St. Elizabeth and the joy and laughter it brought into my life. I love St. Elizabeth.
MARCH FOR LIFE
As Catholics, it is natural for us to protest against the RH bill. To show that we're PRO- life, we first marched from De Paul College until Jaro and yesterday, form Assumption-Iloilo to Freedom Grandstand. We then, listened to different speakers, including Mayor Jed Mabilog. They gave their opinions against it and some even mentioned the negative things about the bill. A lot of schools and organizations, joined the rally. Actually, the venue was overflowing with people. The event ended with a mass. Praying to God that the bill will not be passed.
How about you? Are you supporting or opposing the bill?
When you're in school
Exams. Exams. Exams.
It brings stress and frustration to students like me. I mean, don't you think studying all the lessons from first to fourth quarter for exams needs a lot of reading and brain? It's really really hard to study it all. Page to page. From beginning to end. I've always felt nervous every time I think about failing the exams. I studied really really hard! If I ever fail, I think I'll go mad.
Assumption's like the first school I've known that gives brain exploding exams in the fourth quarter.
I guess I just have to get used to it and pray that I'll pass! :)
HELP! Again?
For WYA club's dignity project, we went back to SOS village again! We played games with the kids. We did tons of stuff! Although, it was raining we still had a lot of fun. Instead of having 1 partner each, we had two, this time. We talked, ate, hang-out and did cool stuffs! IT WAS REALLY REALLY FUN. My partner even shared to me her secrets! The kids even sang a song for us. Some even wrote a letter of gratitude. It was very touching.
It was time to leave and say our goodbyes to each other. I wish we stayed longer 'coz time runs fast when you're having fun. I can tell by the kids' eyes that they didn't want us to leave either but we'll go back there someday! That's for sure. :D
It felt like I was on the top :D
Before exams took place, we had our cheer dance first. Because everybody was determined to win, practices were a must! Things were very stressful. Days before the presentation, some ideas were changed. The dance steps were very hard to follow and to memorize. Things were just very very very confusing and complicated. We're totally cramming at the moment.
Well, I joined stunts because we don't have to do much and we could make our own steps. It wasn't hard.
The day of presentation came and everybody felt cold and nervous! It's because we're kind of unsure if the presentation is good. We danced and I know everybody did their best to make our dance awesome!
We didn't expect it, but hey we got second place! :) \m/
To Sir with L♥ve :)
My beloved teachers,
But how do you thank someone who has taken you from crayons to perfume?
Oh, it isn't easy but I'll try. If you wanted the sky I would write across the sky in letters that would soar a thousand feet high. To sir, with love.

In the month of February, Assumption- Iloilo celebrated Teacher's Day with love and gratitude. My classmates played teacher for a day. It was FUN because not only did we handle our own classes, we also made Mrs. Clement share to us the story of her love life! :> We did some presentations too. We sang, danced and some even acted! But what made the day, great was when we told our teachers how we felt and we expressed our gratitude to them. We cried. We laughed. The day was perfect.
HELP!
This year for our interaction, my classmates and I visited SOS Children's Village in Zarraga. It was a BIG day to remember. We finally got to meet JOHN LLOYD, who was everybody's crush. I got my partner, Angelo. The first few minutes were very awkward, but I finally got him speak. I asked him why he is in SOS and he told me it was because his parents could not support him well. I've got to be honest, I wanted a different teacher at first but after I heard his story, I was touched and I realized there is a reason why I got him. It was to teach me to be contented because a lot of people have less. :)
